Methodology
eWit utilizes a phased approach for the Offshorability Analysis study.
Phase I: Data Collection
eWit's team of consultants performs a detailed analysis of the applications by interviewing the business and IT application stakeholders and collecting data points on application usage and stability.
Phase II: Maturity Analysis
eWit conducts a maturity analysis of the application by synthesizing the quantitative attributes collected during Phase I into a Maturity Index. An application with a high maturity index is stable and can be easily offshored. We use an in-house tool, Offshore Portability Analysis Tool (OPAT), to determine the maturity index. OPAT utilizes a battery of complex statistical algorithms to determine the maturity index based on:

- Application Transition Modeling
- Application Cost Modeling
Phase III: Transition and Cost Modeling
eWit conducts a prioritization exercise to determine the offshore application transition plan. This exercise determines the order of applications that will be offshored and provides a cost recovery plan for the entire process.
Phase IV: Recommendations and Final Report
eWit synthesizes the maturity, transition, prioritization and the cost model plans into a comprehensive plan for the offshoring.
